Erectile Dysfunction and nourishment


There are millions of men around the world suffering from erectile dysfunction and the truth is that nutrition plays an important role in sexual health.  One should have a good diet which should contain a lot of fruits as they are an important source of minerals, antioxidants, vitamins and fibre.

Bananas which are ripe are a major source of tyrosine an amino acid which becomes potent as the bananas get ripe and also regulates dopamine levels.  Bananas also maintain the heart function and normal blood pressure.  Strawberries are a good source of Vitamin V, potassium magnesium and antioxidants which keep bad cholesterol from damaging the artery walls.

An apple is another fruit which help protect the cardiovascular system and reduce artery clogging cholesterol.   Watermelon which is high in amino acid helps to relax and open up blood vessels which promote flow of blood to the penile area.  Pomegranates and papayas are also fruits that are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, E and A lower high cholesterol levels.  Studies have shown that long term consumption of pomegranate juice can help overcome erectile dysfunction.  Avocados are considered an aphrodisiac and having this fruit can lead to a decreased in cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, along with an increase in health promoting HDL cholesterol. It has high levels of folic acid providing you more energy.
