Diabetes: A person having diabetes may suffer from deterioration of nerves and blood vessels resulting in improper flow of blood towards penis. This may cause impotence. However you can reduce the risk of impotence if you can keep your blood sugar level under control.

Cardiovascular diseases: Cardiovascular disease may results in hardening of arteries which restrict them from supplying blood to the penis. When there is inadequate supply of blood to the penis, impotence occurs.

Ageing: When a person age, his testosterone level gets decreased and results in low libido causing impotence.

Nervous System Disorders : Nervous system disorders like Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis may results in impotence.
